Movie Review: Takers -- yes im late :)

Today i decided to watch Takers online.  I had high hopes for this movie first and foremost cause its stars seven of the most beautiful men ever. Chris Brown, Michael Elay, T.I., Idris Elba, Hayden Christianson, Paul Walker and Jay Hernandez. Boy oh boy i was excited to watch this movie. BUTTTT it didnt live up to my expectations. It was like a PG male version of Set it Off and the Oceans trilogy. Its an OK movie but i wouldn't watch it again any time soon. Maybe because i was flipping back and forth between my twitter (@aimzzster) and facebook :) but it couldn't keep my attention. The best part of the film was Chris Brown running from the police in the middle of the movie. Overall i give it a C+

trust.

Trust is a key component in any realtionship, friendship, mentor-ship, anything. But how do you learn to forgive and trust someone? After being hurt, lied to, lied about, used and any other wrong doing how can i just put it behind me? I really try to act as if nothing is bothering me, but i feel all this resentment and anger inside. Why did you have to be a jackass? Why do i care so much? I cant answer these questions, neither can you. For now you don't have all of my trust. That's going to take a long time to gain. For now I'll just go with the flow to keep everyone happy. Even if I'm not myself.

Who You Finna Try?

So  i just realized that I have mad pics of all my friends that they dont know about. So i'm going to start blogging about them. First up Damon. babaahahahaha! Dont get me wrong Damon is an attractive kid, but these pics are something else.  #smh i really cant stop lauging. Ok, this also proves my fact that i was a better looking baby. :)

WELL DONE ! ! !

I tired waiting up until midnight to download the highly anticipated new mixtape from California rapper Tyga, butttt it didnt quite work out. lol As soon as i hit the house though its was ON. Tyga has been growing on me over the past few months. He constantly releases new freestyles to keep his fan entertained and i like that.  Black & Yellow is my fave track, but Teach Me How to Dougie is catching up. If you don't have it already, Well Done is a must listen too. Btw he's only 21 with his sophomore album on the way I can say Tyga is my #3 rapper behind Drake & J. Cole. Plus, hes easy on the eyes :) lol

I'm not a Bow Wow fan, but Christoper Maurice Brown is a different story. Personally, i like the Fan of a Fan (best mixtape of 2010) version better, but i just love the song either way. Check it out...

I want a new era or a snapback sooooo bad!! ahhhhh! They are only 28-40 dollars. I must say if I was a dude I'd be untouchable. But considering the fact I was born without a ________ lol I'll just sit back and admire the beauty. But i'll most likely end up with one.

the man is free!

The man himself is FREE. Today Young Money CEO Lil Wayne is released from jail. (now all the groupies can hop off  Drake :) lol ). But how will Mr. Carter adjust to the game now that his is out. Though hes been releasing single, after single, how it really been up to par with his peers? Currently im on my Kanye tip. Though im not really a Ye fan, i feel as if this is his best album besides "College Dropout"....  of course. So what direction will Weezy go in? Rock, Techno, or good ole classic Hip Hop. With his current competition I think Wayne should drop the autotune, and just rap. Show us where he came from. Hopefully he gets back to his Carter II status. Cause personally I miss the Fireman. Letsss seeeee. Oh and hopefully he doesnt inpregnate some video model!

Who Dat, Who Dat ?

That is Jermaine Cole, the North Carolina native is creating a name for himself. Becoming the first artist signed to Jay-Z's Roc Nation label in 2009, this rookie is most defiantly one to look out for. I must admit I was told about J.Cole long before his hype came, but i never gave him a listen. All I was think was another HOV prototype from NY with the same ROC-A-FELLA flow. NEGATIVE. The smooth rapper fuses the use of allusions and puns to create his melodic lines. Despite that fact that the richest rapper in the game is his mentor, the 25 year old stays humble. With his debut album "Cole World" set for a release at the top of the year, J. Cole has a bright career and i patiently awaiting any of his future projects.<3

Friendship?

Are the people we consider "friends" really that, im beginning to think they are nothing more temporary filters for enjoyment. Honestly what have the friendships brought us but pain, anger and heartache. I can say i have one friend who is my ace, that's it. Surprisingly in recent weeks, my relationships with some acquaintances have been strengthening and others declining to slow death. The people who i am supposed to be able to share everything with have been changing on me. I understand that we move on, find new "friends" but was our realtionship that insignificant that im just forgotten about. Im not bitter, im happy now i know who is real and whos not. It was a fun run, but now im done, done trying, done caring. So to my true best friend, we've been at it for 4 years now, 100 more to go :)
